Automation is one such change, and it’s important to think strategically about it. Attempting to automate all of your processes at once is likely to be overwhelming and could cause issues. Instead, start with the most fundamental processes, and then continue to the functions that are used less frequently.
Keep this in mind when considering new HRIS software systems. Ask yourself: “how does this update fit in with my existing automation plan?” If the two are fundamentally incompatible, either your current automation course needs to be adjusted, or you’ll need to find a system that fits better with it.
